To register for an IRATA training course, a GWO wind turbine training course, a work at height training course, a rope access technician training course or a safety/prevention training course, simply return the registration form previously sent to us by the HTC Techniques Verticales team.

Response times and locations – Customer site
Whether in France or abroad, our lead times for your work at height, rope access, IRATA, confined spaces and GWO training courses are within ten days. On receipt of your order form, we’ll find the best skills to meet your needs, and take care of all pedagogical, logistical and operational formalities.
Trainee skills assessment
Each training course offered by HTC Techniques Verticales is based on a set of specifications and the achievement of targeted training objectives. To this end, each trainee is given an individual skills evaluation sheet for the duration of his or her training in working at heights, rope access, IRATA, safety, confined spaces, etc.)
End-of-training documents
At the end of each training course, and following an assessment of your staff’s skills, participants or their employers will be issued with a certificate of completion, dated and signed by HTC Techniques Verticales, certifying that they have achieved their practical and theoretical objectives.
As IRATA training courses are subject to a final examination, successful candidates will be issued with a rope access technician’s professional card, a certificate and a « Log Book IRATA ».
Course duration
The HTC Techniques Verticales training team has designed the programs for working at height and/or rope access training to guarantee maximum safety for trainees. Depending on the experience of the trainees, it is possible to shorten the course after carrying out a skills assessment prior to the training. For other topics, we follow the regulations in force and even go beyond them.
For IRATA Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 training courses, the duration is 42 hours, i.e. 6 days (including exams), at our training centers: Peypin_Région Sud- PACA (15 min from Marseille) Chateaubriant_Loire atlantique (between Nantes and Rennes) and Leforest_Région Hauts de France (20 min from Lille).

What does it say about working at height and rope access?
Decree No. 2004-924 of September 1, 2004 on work equipment provided and temporary work at height stipulates that employees must receive appropriate training specific to the operations envisaged and rescue procedures (Art.R-233-13-337 f).

Work at heights, rope access and IRATA International refresher courses
With the exception of training courses leading to certification as a rope access technician or scaffolder (CQP type), refresher courses for work at height and rope access are at the discretion of the employer. Nevertheless, it is advisable to update your skills every one or two years, depending on the technical nature of the training and the level of requirement of the work assignments.
For trainees who have passed their exam during an IRATA rope access training course (Niv.1, Niv.2 or Niv.3), the validity period is 3 years from the date of passing.

PERIODIC INSPECTION OF EPI FALLING FROM HEIGHT
Checking personal protective equipment (PPE)
In accordance with the decree of March 19, 1993, PPE for use at height must be periodically ins pected every year by a company-internal or external inspector. Once PPE for use at height has been inspected, the internal inspection register must be kept up to date.
HTC Techniques Verticales inspectors come to your company to inspect your equipment.
PPE service life
Textile equipment (harnesses, helmets, etc.) has a life expectancy of 10 years. Metal PPE (connectors, descenders, fall arresters, etc.) can be used for life, except in the event of a major and exceptional incident affecting their proper functioning. The lifespan of PPE for falls from height is the duration of storage + duration of use.
PPE verification documents
On completion of the PPE falls from height inspection, HTC Techniques Verticales will send you a full inspection report for each « family » of PPE we have inspected.
Use of the trainee’s PPE
Although HTC Techniques Verticales provides equipment for trainees and companies during IRATA and GWO training courses, work at height training courses and rope access training courses, trainees and companies are authorized to use their own equipment during the course.
All you need to do before the start of the training course is to send us the latest PPE check, less than 12 months old, validated by an experienced inspector trained in Category 3 PPE checking for falls from height.
