Acquire solid technical skills and develop recognised operational expertise. This training course prepares you to repair blades accurately and methodically.

  • Perform and document wind turbine blade inspections
  • Perform repair work in accordance with work instructions
  • Maintain the aerodynamic profile and structural integrity of parts
  • Laminate repairs, and leading and trailing edge repairs
  • Replacement of core material up to 200 cm²
  • Surface repairs for painting and gelcoat application

Safety data sheets (SDS): symbols, vocabulary, technical data for blades
Risk assessment and securing the work area
Preventive measures against contamination
Prevention and information on chemicals
Characteristics of blades: composites, construction and materials
Sandwich panels, painting and repair inspection
Inspection of the lightning protection system
Sanding and grinding a blade
Repairing a blade: process and application (resin, filler, paint)
Repairing a blade (laminate, trailing edge, leading edge, panel bonding line)
Final repair test

Prerequisites : Must be of legal age / HTC medical clearance / No allergies to chemicals
Audience : This training course is not accessible to people with Category B and C disabilities. Category A disabilities: please contact us

Training duration : Training duration: 10 days (70 hours), with 21 hours of theory + 49 hours of practice
