Develop your emergency response skills and strengthen your ability to act effectively in critical situations. This training course prepares you to master advanced rescue techniques in wind turbine environments.

Hub, Spinner and Blade Interior Rescue – (HSIBR)

Emergency response plan within the organisation
Rescue strategy with a single rescuer
Injury prevention measures during training
Head support during rescue
Conditioning of the victim
Rescue system for descent/ascent
Rescue exercise Hub 1 & 2 (from the blade)
Rescue exercise Hub 3 & 4 (from the spinner)
Evacuation of a victim to the outside (from the spinner)

Basket, Tower and Base – (NTBR)

Emergency response plan within the organisation
Rescue strategy with a single rescuer
Injury prevention measures during training
Head support during rescue
Conditioning of the victim
Rescue system for descent/ascent
Evacuation of an injured person from the basket to the base of the tower
Rescue exercise in confined space
Rescue exercise in cramped space (crawl space)

Practical information about the training course

GWO ART (Advanced Rescue Training)

Prerequisites : Be of legal age / Hold GWO WAH + FA + MH certification / HTC medical clearance
Audience : This training course is not accessible to people with Category B and C disabilities. Category A disabilities: please contact us
Training document : WINDA GWO wind energy certification
Validity : 2 years (from exam date)
Training duration : 3 days (21 hours), with 4 hours of theory and 17 hours of practice
