At the end of this training course

GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)

The GWO BST training enables participants to take care of themselves and others working in the wind industry by acquiring technical skills and competencies.

Master techniques for working at height
Acquire first aid skills
Develop manual handling techniques
Raise awareness of fire risks
Be able to evacuate, rescue and administer first aid in an emergency

GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)

Choose the modules you need. GWO certification is valid for 24 months and must be renewed through refresher training in order to maintain your skills and your right to practice.

GWO Onshore (onshore wind turbine)

WAH module (Working at height) 2 days (1 day for refresher training)

FA module (First Aid) 1 day

FAW+MH module (Fire, Gestures and Postures) 1 day

GWO Offshore (offshore wind turbines)

WAH module (Working at height) 2 days (1 day for refresher training)

FA module (First Aid) 1 day

SS module (Survival at Sea) 1 day

FAW+MH module (Fire, Gestures and Postures) 1 day

Practical information about the training course
GWO BST (Basic Safety Training)

Training duration : 3 to 5 days (21 to 35 hours)

Validity : 24 months

Prerequisites : Be of legal age / HTC medical clearance / Rope access technician with 1,000 hours of experience

Audience : This training course is not accessible to people with Category B and C disabilities. Category A disabilities: please contact us
